Because, it is too hard for people to be happy, be at peace with themselves and others or love themselves and others without having the right to speak within their community.
It is not possible to carry out alternative education programs and to provide alternative learning environments with traditional organizational structures. The synergy, communication and peaceful environment arising from everyone being a part of decision making and problem solving processes, determining all activities from a participatory perspective and all community members making their own decisions are essential for a school.
We believe that children could be happy only when they have a democratically administered school.
